Rental yields hit house price growth

House prices grew more slowly in October as higher borrowing costs and record-low yields stemmed investors' enthusiasm. The combined capital growth of 10.1 per cent from a year earlier was down on September's 11 per cent and reflected a slower pace of gain in both Sydney and Melbourne, CoreLogic RP Data figures for October show.
