Two of Darwin’s leading real estate agencies have combined to become one of the Northern Territory’s biggest commercial property managers.
LJ Hooker Commercial Darwin and North Commercial NT have merged as part of a strategic expansion to offer commercial property investors and vendors increased support, best practice insights and connections for their assets.
North Commercial NT’s property portfolio will combine with LJ Hooker Commercial Darwin property portfolio and will operate under the new merged entity, LJ Hooker Commercial North NT.
As part of the merger, long-standing commercial specialists Lee and Ryan Doyle will be the operating directors for LJ Hooker Commercial North NT.
LJ Hooker Principal David Loy announced the expansion this week, saying joint expertise of the combined teams would benefit the service they offered all their landlords and vendors.
“I’m very optimistic about the future for the NT’s commercial property market with the logistics sector to benefit from record road funding and the retail sector to grow on the back of increased population flagged by the various tiers of government,” said Mr Loy.
“We’re positioning our commercial property investors to take advantage of future opportunities through this expansion. North Commercial NT shares our commitment to exceptional service and being true trusted advisers for our clients.”
North Commercial NT is a family-owned, independent business which has built a strong reputation in the Darwin commercial property market in the last eight years. Lee and Ryan Doyle each have a strong track record in commercial sales and leasing transactions and pride themselves on the quality and relevance of the advice they offer to their clients.
“Our commitment to local business and supporting the Northern Territory will not change. As a family business we are proud of what we have achieved, and we are sure this new structure will benefit our customers and clients.”
Lee added: “Between myself, Ryan and David, we have a wealth of knowledge across the Darwin and wider NT markets, enabling us to offer strategies to clients that deliver premium outcomes. Combing our on-the-ground connections and expertise with the LJ Hooker Commercial offering will strengthen our service and capabilities.”
LJ Hooker General Manager-Network, Stephen Mutton, congratulated the directors on the expansion this week.
“We’ve had a strong foothold in Darwin and the Northern Territory for several decades through David’s leadership of both the brand’s commercial and residential agencies,” said Mr Mutton.
“With the addition of Lee and Ryan’s expertise, the Group is excited to watch our presence in the Northern Territory flourish further, delivering a new benchmark in outcomes for sellers and investors, and strengthening collaborations around our national network.”
