Laing+Simmons Hunters Hill has joined the boutique network under the experienced local leadership of Richard Pickton.
The Laing+Simmons Hunters Hill team, formerly of Ray White, will provide a comprehensive suite of real estate services to the local community, drawing on a combined wealth of local experience which runs into the decades.
Pickton said the decision to join the Laing+Simmons family was based on culture.
“We recognised it was time to elevate our business to the next level in terms of growth, and to do this we wanted to ensure we would have the right support and, importantly, the right culture behind us,” Pickton said.
“Laing+Simmons emphasised from the first conversation that it was all about family, prioritising people above all else, and this is how we see the future of our business too. It was a natural cultural fit, and we’re excited to take the next step.
“The real estate market locally is going through an interesting new phase where buyers are understandably taking a more cautious approach to maximise value for money, yet the quality of properties and wonderful lifestyle on offer in Hunters Hill ensure demand remains robust.
“Local expertise is the most crucial ingredient in these changing times and this, combined with the customer-first focus that characterises Laing+Simmons, will hold us in great stead going forward,” he said.
Pickton and his team are on the lookout for talented new team members who share their local focus as they embark on this exciting new phase.
Laing+Simmons Network Growth Manager Travis Wentriro said the Hunters Hill office represents a key strategic addition in the company’s growth plans.
“This is a market where we needed to have a presence. With Richard and his team now part of the family, we’re fortunate to welcome the area’s leading team to the group and we look forward to supporting their long-term growth,” Wentriro said.
The new Hunters Hill office is the latest in a string of new offices to join the Laing+Simmons network this year, and there will be more to come soon, Wentriro told WILLIAMS MEDIA.
“We’re in advanced discussions with several best-in-business operators, both in Sydney and in key regional areas, and anticipate making some further exciting announcements in the near future,” Wentriro said.
“We remain on the lookout for like-minded agents who are at the forefront in their local markets and who believe in the key principle that real estate is not a property-first business, but a people-first business," Wentriro said.
