Julia Sallows is this year's winner of Laing+Simmons' annual Scholarship Program.
Laing+Simmons has revealed the winner of its annual scholarship program, Julia Sallows of Prospect.
Sallows was introduced to the Laing+Simmons Scholarship Program by her school careers advisor. As part of the program, she did a week’s work experience with the Laing+Simmons Quakers Hill team, and made an instant impression with her drive and enthusiasm.
Her win will mean Sallows joins Laing+Simmons leading estate office in Blacktown, where she’ll learn from experienced sales specialist, Mark Stone.
The Laing+Simmons Scholarship Program was developed 20 years ago, and is designed to identify undiscovered talented agents, and to give them a leg-up in the industry and their career.
“Real estate is an industry I’d been interested for many years so when I found out about the scholarship program it made sense to apply,” Sallows said.
“Scholarship participants complete a work experience period with one of our offices and are mentored by an experienced real estate operator, ensuring the right techniques, skills and standards of practise are learned at the outset of their careers,” said Laing+Simmons Managing Director Leanne Pilkington.
