McGrath Estate Agents have announced the appointment of former Ray White Director Karl Secondis as Victorian State Manager.
Residential agency McGrath Estate Agents have recruited a Victorian State Manager to grow their footprint in the region, with Karl Secondis filling the newly created role.
Mr Secondis joins the agency from Ray White where he worked for more than 7 years.
Mr Secondis said he had enjoyed a long relationship with McGrath.
“I’ve always been inspired by the integrity of the brand and the quality of its look and feel in the market place," he said.
"Melbourne is one of the most dynamic property markets in Australia and I see it as a great fit for not only the metropolitan areas of the city but for regional locations who will benefit from its high standards and customer experience.
“It is a natural progression for me to harness my experience over many years across all facets of the real estate business understanding client’s needs and provide them with a service that exceeds their expectations whether they are buyers, vendors or landlords."
Karl had previously established Ray White Darwin (2002-2008) where as a partner grew the business to employ over 50 staff with a rent roll of more than 1,000 properties under management.
He also owned and operated One Real Estate Darwin, where as a selling Principal he also grew organically the property management business.
Head of Franchise Network for McGrath Christopher Mourd said Mr Secondis embodied the agency's style of recruitment.
“Karl has a depth of experience not only in business but also as a principal, sales leader, sales agent and auctioneer," he said.
"We have a Melburnian who is returning home having built a successful business and property career in Darwin and we couldn’t be happier to have Karl lead our network in Victoria.
“He is an exceptionally good auctioneer who both Scott Kennedy-Green and I have had the pleasure of competing with on different occasions at the Australasian Auctioneering Competition, so it is fitting that Karl will also be our Head Auctioneer for Victoria.”
