The Real Estate Institute of New South Wales has announced the finalists for their 21st annual Awards for Excellence.
REINSW President Leanne Pilkington said it was exciting to see the breadth of talent showcased as finalists for the 2018 awards.
“Our awards continue to go from strength to strength, with the best, bravest and brightest that work across the industry getting this much-deserved recognition,” Ms Pilkington said.
“Ten agency categories and 12 individual categories make up the 2018 awards program. We have added three new categories this year: Operational Leadership, Operational Support and Buyers’ Agency.
“It is a great achievement to be recognised in this way, and the finalists should feel proud of themselves,” Ms Pilkington said.
Mechlenne Douaihy from Merc Real Estate, who is a finalist in the Property Marketer category, says winning has always been her goal since she began her agency.
"Working in the industry for the past 15 years, I always knew how highly regarded the Awards for Excellence were. So when I started my agency in 2013, one of my goals was to win an REINSW award," she told WILLIAMS MEDIA.

Jesse Davidson of auctionWORKS, who is a finalist in the Auctioneer category, says the awards are a great measure of your success.
“I entered the Awards for Excellence last year to test myself against the best in the industry. For me, it was all about learning from my peers and there’s no better way to do this than by watching the best in business in action," Davidson told WILLIAMS MEDIA.
"If you’re thinking about entering this year, don’t be scared. The contacts you make and the experience you gain is invaluable. And winning raises your profile in so many ways. The REINSW Awards for Excellence are the industry awards to enter," Davidson said.
