Celebrating the best and brightest in the industry, the 21st annual REINSW Awards for Excellence is a night for the industry to stop and recognise the top performers in real estate. 

REINSW President, Leanne Pilkington, said the event is designed to encourage and promote excellence.

"The event celebrates the best, bravest and brightest work across the industry," Ms Pilkington said. 

This year, three new categories have been added to the lineup. 

"We have extended our awards program to include three new categories: Operational Leadership, Operational Support and Buyers Agency," she said.

"We've added these categories in recognition of the fact that its a growing sector of the market, so its important for us to recongise the importance of that particular sector to the market," Ms Pilkington told WILLIAMS MEDIA.

Ms Pilkington said there's a possibility further categories will be added to the lineup in the future.

"We assess after the awards every year, we sit down have a discussion on the feedback we've received. If a business come to us and says we should consider adding something, we'll take it into consideration," she said. 

The awards recognise commercial and residential professionals, as well as digital innovation, community services and agencies. 

"As we continue our journey on the path to professionalism, the REINSW Awards for Excellence truly highlight the outstanding achievements of those in our industry," Ms Pilkington said.

Entries for the awards close on Friday 8 June, 2018. 

The Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner will be held at Sydney Town Hall on Thursday, 27 September, 2018.
