Queensland Sotheby's International Realty have hosted their first auction event overnight at the Mercedes AMG Showroom in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.
Queensland Sotheby's International Realty has held its first of many auction events overnight at the Mercedes AMG Showroom in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane.
The real estate agency was among the very first to use the Gavl technology at the event - aligning with their global presence by allowing online bidding through their app from anywhere in the world.
And indeed people were bidding from further afield - there was a registered bidder bidding from a yacht off the coast of Vietnam.
Deanne Arthur, Director at Queensland Sotheby's International Realty, told WILLIAMS MEDIA she was happy with how the event turned out and is looking forward to more auction events in the future.
Queensland Sotheby's International Realty agent, Joseph Lordi, told WILLIAMS MEDIA that he had a 100 per cent success rate.
"It was fantastic my team and I had a 100 per cent success rate which was brilliant, we're thrilled," he said.
"It was three weeks of a lot of hard work which really paid off last night. Overall it was a great night, it ran quite well. The venue was fantastic with all the luxury cars, Mercedes have been a huge help for us," he said.
Of the properties that were offered, three sold prior to auction while one sold under the hammer.
193 Wynnum Esplanade, Wynnum
This home was sold prior to auction for $1.65m, which the agent called a "street and suburb record".
