After five months on the market, Meg Ryan has found a buyer for her industrial-chic loft in a classic Soho building.
Meg Ryan, who is well known for successfully buying, selling, and renovating properties, has sold her latest, an industrial-chic loft in New York's Soho.
The final selling price was US$9.85 million (more than AU$12 million), just over US$1 million (AU$1.3 million) less than the original asking price.
The apartment is 4,100 square feet, and features 12-foot ceilings, hardwood floors, and pre-war original details. Occupying the fifth floor of a 1880s-built Soho building, the home's monochrome scheme is chic and calming.
A long hallway lined with large windows brings light into the home, and floor-to-ceiling glass French doors separate living zones without blocking light.

Ryan bought the apartment from Hank Azaria, of 'The Simpsons' fame, in 2013 for US$8 million, according to the Wall Street Journal, and extensively renovated and decorated it. The agent was Barbara Hochhauser of Corcoran Group Real Estate.
Ryan has bought into the 'paparazzi proof' Tribeca building, 443 Greenwich Street, where Rebel Wilson, Jennifer Lawrence, and Justin Timberlake also own properties.
