CobdenHayson’s much-anticipated Art Month was back in March, was proved to be bigger and brighter than ever. Now in its 16th year, this beloved annual event continues to spark the imagination of children across the Inner West and Lower North Shore, inviting them to showcase their creativity in the popular colouring competition.
This year’s competition offered an exciting opportunity for children up to 12 years old to have their artwork featured on the iconic CobdenHayson ‘SOLD’ stickers – a tradition that has become a highlight of Art Month.
Beyond the pride of seeing their designs displayed across the neighbourhood, winners were also given the chance to take home some incredible prizes. Options include a Nintendo Switch™, a Taronga Zoo Family Pass, an Art Pack, a Go Kart, or a Hoverboard (prizes may vary by office).
CobdenHayson’s Matt Hayson said that last year’s competition saw a remarkable number of entries, reflecting the enthusiasm and artistic talent of children in our community.
“With an even greater turnout expected in 2025, CobdenHayson has seen an inspiring display of creativity.”
The competition ran from 1 March to 28 March 2025, with winners set to be announced on Saturday, 5 April 2025.
Participating was easy and open to all young artists in the community. Entrants simply picked up a colouring page and entry form from any of CobdenHayson’s six offices across the Inner West and Lower North Shore, dropped off their completed masterpieces at their nearest office. Every entrant received a special treat upon submission, making it a fun experience for all involved.
“Keep an eye out for these unique creations popping up around the neighbourhood after the winners have been announced. Whether it’s the joy of artistic expression, the thrill of competition, or the chance to win fantastic prizes, Art Month is always an unforgettable experience.”
