Rebel Wilson has bought a two-bedroom apartment in the 443 Greenwich Street building in TriBeCa, and will count Justin Timberlake and Jennifer Lawrence among her neighbours.
Rebel Wilson has bought a two-bedroom apartment in downtown TriBeCa, in the 443 Greenwich Street building that is home to several A-list celebrities.
The star of 'Pitch Perfect' bought the home for US $2.95 million ($3.9 million), telling Women's Wear Daily she might as well buy a place in New York because she will be filming there this year.
Other celebrity owners in the building include Justin Timberlake, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Lawrence, Harry Styles, Meg Ryan, Blake Lively, and Ryan Reynolds.
The building is being promoted as 'paparazzi proof', an attribute that is likely to appeal to the actor, who has recently won a defamation case against Bauer Media, after they wrote articles suggesting she had lied about her age, her name, and her childhood.
Wilson won't be putting any yet-to-be-determined damages payments she receives from the case towards her new apartment; she has said any money she receives from the case, she will donate to charity.
Wilson owns two other homes in the US, a four-bedroom home in the Los Angeles' Hollywood Hills, and a five-bedroom home in West Hollywood.
