CEO of Place Estate Agents, Damian Hackett, had been working with the marketing team for months on the exciting transformation.
Place Estate Agents has officially launched its brand refresh at their high energy auction event, The Summer Day, held at The Calile Hotel.
The fresh new look was revealed in front of a packed crowd; the Place team ready to hit the ground running with a sleek, refined identity.
CEO of Place Estate Agents, Damian Hackett, had been working with the marketing team for months on the exciting transformation.
“It was at our annual conference in September when we first announced the new look in a video, and it has been a huge effort by the team at Place HQ to get us to the point where we could go live,” Damian said.
Gareth Gower, Head of Marketing at Place, highlighted that innovation is one of the brand’s core values and this refresh reflects that commitment.
“While the overall brand identity remains the same, we’ve introduced three new accent colours – clay, denim, and blush – to give our properties, agents, and brand marketing campaigns a refreshed and modern feel. These new shades complement our primary colours of navy and white, while offering an exciting update. It’s been four years since our full rebrand, so the timing couldn’t be better to revitalise our look,” Gareth said.
Damian explained that the refresh isn’t just about a fresh coat of paint – it’s a strategic ‘mid-model update.
“Today is the motor vehicle equivalent of our mid-model update. Four and a half years ago, we did the full rebrand, and you can’t underestimate the significance of this process. We’re taking everything we’ve built and refining it for an even more powerful future,” Damian said.
This refresh is not only visual; it's a reaffirmation of Place's commitment to innovation.
“Innovation is what keeps us ahead,” Damian said.
“It drives us to be better, to push boundaries, and to always seek new ways to improve. This refresh reflects our commitment to staying on the front foot, ready to embrace the future with creativity and confidence. We’re excited to ensure Place remains dynamic and forward-thinking.”
Damian also emphasised that while technology and trends change rapidly, the core principles of success remain unchanged.
“While the pace of change is faster than ever, the fundamental principles remain constant. Our team’s expertise, negotiation skills, and ability to build strong relationships will always be the foundation of success. Our role is to strike the right balance - embracing advancement while staying true to these core, unchanging values,” Damian shared.
Reflecting on the success of The Summer Day event, Place Chief Auctioneer, Peter Burgin, was energised by the results.
“The Summer Day is another example of how our innovation has enabled us to get January off to a real flyer. In fact, it’s been our strongest January on record,” Peter said.
The team recorded a total of 72 auctions, with an average of four registered bidders per auction, and around 70% clearance rate for the three-day auction event.
With this exciting brand update and a record-breaking start for auctions, the Place team is feeling optimistic about 2025.
