Adam Downes brings a nakpin idea to reality, with Ray White Pulse, a custom-built platform that compiles data from six different Ray White One System technology tools to provide a personalised dashboard for each agent and office detailing their historical and current performance metrics.
From a small napkin came a big idea. Former corporate performance specialist and now successful Ray White business owner, Adam Downes, presented his Curiosity in 2018 during Ray White corporate’s annual Crows Nest Conference.
His idea was simple but innovative: create a tool that shows real-time agent and office activity to benchmark members against one another and create competition.
Ray White Pulse is a custom-built platform that compiles data from six different Ray White One System technology tools to provide a personalised dashboard for each agent and office detailing their historical and current performance metrics.
“The Pulse application’s integration, automation and data-rich features help to create valuable network effects that foster healthy competition and ambition among our members” said the Pulse Suite’s Product Manager, Bella Pulj.
“Driven by our ambition to develop software in-house, tailored to our group's unique needs, we actively incorporate feedback and suggestions from our members. This ensures that Pulse not only evolves in alignment with user demands but also reflects how we provide value through these internally built tools,” she said.
“Having a collaborative approach motivates continuous improvement and innovation within our community whilst strengthening engagement and encouraging a vibrant, competitive environment that benefits everyone.
“The pivotal ‘build vs. buy’ decision that saw Pulse come to life continues to provide our business leaders with an unfair advantage against their competition. With the Pulse Suite applications, they’re able to make confident, data-driven decisions that can ultimately impact the trajectory of their businesses.”
All Ray White members have access to this tool and can see where they stand amongst their peers with leaderboards and benchmarking while also being able to set and maintain goals, follow recognition progress and gain access to detailed insights about their individual performance.
Business Manager of Ray White Lara, Zach Boothroyd said the combination of platforms in the Pulse suite provides the foundation upon which all business decisions are made on a day-to-day basis.
“The live data feeds and seamless integration across platforms means directors and management can access real time information and use it to influence both staff and customers to achieve premium outcomes,” he said.
“On-the-fly adjustments to business strategy in rapidly changing market and economic cycles is now possible at a local level, with data feeds relevant to our office and core trade area, as well as the ability to benchmark against other offices and locales. I start every day by analysing data from these platforms.”
Bianca Denham, Head of Performance and Recognition, says the platform has grown competition amongst Ray White members.
“Pulse has taken peer-to-peer competition up a notch, with Pulse being an integral part of the recognition program and awards season,” Bianca said.
“As each agent and office can see where they rank in real time, they can often get a good sense of who their main competitors are come awards time. This only serves to spur on performance.”
Ray White is committed to building its digital offering, while also partnering with leading suppliers to provide the best possible technology experience for members. Our technology underpins all our systems to service our customers at the highest level.
The Pulse platform is part of a suite of applications supporting growth and performance, which also includes Profit Pulse for detailed financial insights and benchmarking, Radar for market growth, and Stockboard which helps to manage property in a process driven way to achieve better outcomes for our clients.
