Just five years after first opening its doors, LJ Hooker South West is set to expand again with the unveiling of a sleek new office in the regional hub of Busselton.
Principal Brent Spooner said it was an exciting move for the business which already has established offices in Bunbury and Collie.
“This is a fabulous opportunity for us to diversify our geographic footprint and improve our service offering in the Busselton area,” he said.
“By increasing our local presence, we will be able to attract new clients, improve convenience and streamline operations. In addition, it will give us a deeper understanding of the local market which is in high demand from both owner-occupiers and investors.”
The newly renovated premises located at 88 Queen Street, Busselton were recently visited by LJ Hooker Group Chief Executive Officer Christine Mikhael and LJ Hooker Head of Network Australia Stephen Mutton.
“We were fortunate to have a sneak peek of the new offices before it officially opened - it is modern, chic and it is certainly a long way forward than most typical real estate businesses,” Mr Mutton said.
“It reflects Brent’s energy for his business and shows how the brand is evolving to meet the expectations of the modern day.
“LJ Hooker South West has certainly created an environment where people will want to come together and work. We want our businesses to change with the times and have the right mindset. This also includes adopting the right aesthetic look and creating an office space that is both vibrant and relaxed to foster innovation and collaboration.”
Mr Spooner was recently named Business Owner of the Year within the LJ Hooker network for his outstanding contribution to the Western Australia property market.
The 37-year-old joined Australia’s most iconic real estate brand just five years ago after taking over the LJ Hooker office in Bunbury. At the time, the business started with just a team of three staff members but has now grown to more than 40 operating under the name LJ Hooker South West.
Additional employees will be recruited for the new Busselton office, which will offer both residential and commercial sales. There will also be a significant property management focus after the business acquired over a local rent-roll mid-last year.
Demand for properties in Busselton is high with the regional township recording a 16.4 per cent growth in sales during the past year to a median of $565,000. Rental growth has also increased to 17.8 per cent attracting a median rent of $630 per week, making the area popular for investors.
The new office, located on the town’s main street, will increase the presence of the LJ Hooker brand within WA’s growing southwest region. Stylishly renovated, it features soft neutrals, timber detailing and chevron-patterned floors.
“We are delighted with the design of the new office and thrilled to be able to offer a premium experience to our customers,” Mr Spooner said.
“It was also important for us to be able to create a space that will be not just positive for the brand but also for our staff. Everyone had been counting down to moving into the new space and now we are in there, we can move forward as a team in this exciting chapter for our business.”
