The Laing+Simmons growth plan is going from strength to strength in 2023 and the company has just made several critical new hires to ensure the momentum achieved will be momentum maintained.
Karen Hardy has joined the Laing+Simmons Corporate team as Franchise Growth Manager, expanding the company’s resources in seeking to attract the best operators at the local level, welcoming them into the Laing+Simmons culture, and working with them to build a strong business for the future.
For this, Laing+Simmons CEO Leanne Pilkington says, Ms Hardy’s experience will be invaluable.
“As a previous Laing+Simmons business owner, Karen understands what it takes to operate a successful real estate office, she knows what principals and their teams need in terms of head office support, and importantly, she knows our brand and its points of difference,” Ms Pilkington says.
“With more new offices set to join the network in coming weeks and months, Karen and the team will be busy in ensuring the new members of the Laing+Simmons family hit the ground running.”
In another major boost for the network, experienced agent Michelle Jones has joined the Corporate team in the role of Centralised Agent Support Manager. Centralised Agent Support is an exciting new initiative recently trialled by Laing+Simmons which will be formally launched in coming weeks.
“Michelle’s deep real estate experience means she not only understands the type of support agents need to best serve their customers, but also the urgency with which that critical support must be provided,” Ms Pilkington says.
Additionally, Badwey Sarkis has just joined the Laing+Simmons Corporate team as Social Media and Marketing Coordinator, ensuring the company’s agents are able to better engage with their customers and markets in a powerful and authentic way.
“Badwey is a highly-skilled communicator and an important resource for our Principals and their staff to tap into. For our teams across the state to be able to leverage Badwey’s proven ability to connect with audiences with engaging content will be a key advantage in the strong competition for eyeballs and clicks,” Ms Pilkington says.
“These new additions to the Corporate team demonstrate our willingness to invest in the resources we know real estate businesses need to succeed long-term in a challenging and competitive environment,” she says.
In 2023 to date, Laing+Simmons has welcomed new offices in Balmain, Coogee/Randwick and Rouse Hill/Box Hill, with more to be announced soon.
