In honor of RE/MAX Founders Day, the company’s headquarters city is making the celebration of 50 years of RE/MAX official in 2023.
In Denver, Colorado, the home of the RE/MAX World Headquarters, Mayor Michael B. Hancock has proclaimed January 30, 2023 “RE/MAX, LLC 50th Anniversary Day” in honor of the brand reaching its impressive 50-year milestone in business.
RE/MAX was founded in Denver on January 30 in 1973 and has changed the course of real estate on a global scale ever since.
Excerpts from the official proclamation scroll include:
RE/MAX has been a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospital since 1992, with agents and offices impacting children by generously supporting the 170 affiliate hospitals across the U.S. and Canada, including Children’s Hospital Colorado.
“Founders Day is a celebration of the Linigers’ vision, the amazing real estate agents we have in our network and the incredible brand we’ve built together,” says Nick Bailey, RE/MAX President and CEO. “This year is particularly special as we celebrate five decades of entrepreneurs who are deeply passionate about serving their communities. We’re a global company, but Denver will always hold a special place in our heart as the city where real estate history changed forever in 1973.”
Though it’s been named a local holiday, the RE/MAX network is celebrating worldwide.
The 2023 RE/MAX R4 – the brand’s annual event for networking, learning, and more – is taking place February 27-March 1 at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada and will be a networkwide celebration of 50 years of RE/MAX. With attendees joining from more than 61 countries, the event is set to be bigger than ever before.
The RE/MAX brand has made headlines over the years for countless awards, initiatives and charitable endeavors. But earning its very own holiday is a first.
