National real estate company The Agency Group Australia (ASX:AU1) has appointed Steven Carroll as General Manager of Sales – Queensland.  

The Agency Real Estate CEO Matt Lahood said he is extremely, excited and humbled to welcome Mr Carroll who has experience in top-tier leadership roles in the UK, Australia and Middle East.  

“Steve will be assisting with growth, training and coaching as well as mentoring across our team in the Sunshine State,” Mr Lahood said.  

Mr Carroll was the Director of Sales at realestate.com.au for seven years before becoming director of Industry Relations. He came to Australia in 2006 as sales manager for News Corp across the Courier Mail, Sunday Mail and careerone.com.au and most recently has worked as a consultant after a stint in Dubai as GM of leading real estate portal Property Finder.  

“I have always had a deep respect for Matt Lahood and Geoff Lucas and what they are building at The Agency,” he said.  

“I am looking forward to working with agents across Queensland in what represents a huge growth market for The Agency.”
