After leading the Perth Wildcats media and content strategy through a phenomenal decade of growth highlighted by incredible on-court success, Wade Dobson has been appointed Realmark’s new General Manager of Operations, supporting both its property and finance service offerings.
Founder and Managing Director John Percudani said the appointment highlights Realmark’s commitment to investing in innovative professional services.
“Our clear focus moving forward is to continue our growth by elevating the client experience and supporting our team members to be able to deliver on our brand promises, while pursuing their own career aspirations,” he said.
“Professional sports have embraced the changes we’ve seen in the digital content and marketing space over the last 10 to 15 years, and the Perth Wildcats have been industry leaders under Wade’s guidance.
“Investing in a staff with diverse professional backgrounds gives us a competitive advantage, allowing us to provide the most innovative solutions to our clients. Wade’s appointment exemplifies that belief.”
Mr Dobson said the opportunity to lead a corporate division with a focus on innovative outcomes is what attracted him from the basketball arena to the world of real estate.
“I feel very fortunate to have been a part of the Perth Wildcats resurgence over the last 10 years and have learnt a lot through outstanding mentorship from highly accomplished leaders,” he said.
“The beauty of professional sports is its collaborative nature, which has allowed me to work closely with commercial, membership, merchandise and basketball departments while leading my own creative team to achieve fantastic outcomes.
“Realmark’s story is not dissimilar to the Wildcats. Both are iconic West Australian brands established in the 1980s who have out-performed through hard-work, proactive innovation, and a values-based management strategy.
“I consider my strength to be growing a brand in the public spotlight, and Realmark is on the verge of an exciting period of growth. I’m excited to be a part of that.”
After completing the West Australian Academy of Performing Art’s highly regarded post-graduate broadcasting program in 2009, Mr Dobson held broadcast journalism positions at WIN Television, Nine News, PerthNow and 96fm prior to his commencement at the Perth Wildcats in 2012.
His appointment at Realmark exemplifies the Perth property leader's ambitious pursuit of excellence in its marketing, communications, and professional support services division.
