WA’s most successful real estate office, Realmark Coastal, is welcoming James Thompson, one of Perth’s top selling agents, to its flourishing team.
A specialist in selling homes in the City of South Perth and surrounding areas, Mr Thompson – who has spent the past 15 years in residential property sales –consistently ranks in the top 1 percent of real estate salespeople nationally.
He achieved Grand Master Salesperson status at the 2021 Real Estate Institute of WA Awards and has been rated Como’s Agent of the Year in the Rate My Agent Awards for the past four years running.
Mr Thompson said he was motivated to make the move to Realmark Coastal after witnessing the success of the tight-knit group of high-achieving agents.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity to be joining the number one real estate office in WA and learning from the best; I’m looking forward to embracing new innovations so I can deliver even more for my clients while staying focused on the areas I know and love,” he said.
“I have such a strong connection to South Perth and Como; not only did I grow up locally, I also went to school and played footy locally, and I’m committed to staying entrenched in and supporting these fabulous areas and the organisations they’re home to.”
Realmark Coastal director Sean Hughes said he was delighted James had decided to join the agency.
“James gives so much back to the City of South Perth communities and his knowledge of the amazing suburbs in the area is second-to-none, so we’re excited to be able to give our clients access to his expertise,” said Mr Hughes.
“We operate across Perth, not just in the coastal space, and our clients love that we can deliver high-end assistance to them no matter where they’re selling or where they want to shift to.”
Mr Hughes said it was a fantastic time to be adding an agent of James’ calibre to the office.
“We’re pleased to be able to support professionals like James to grow and reach new heights while being part of a wonderful culture of hardworking agents,” he said.
“And we believe the spring real estate market in Perth will be exceptional, so it’s perfect timing.”
Mr Thompson said he was energised for the months ahead with a plethora of spring opportunities available for buyers.
“Demand for family homes in the City of South Perth has led to extraordinary price growth in that segment but the apartment and unit market has been softer, meaning there are still great properties ready to be snapped up at very good prices,” he explained.
“We expect more demand will trickle in to that part of the market too, which means prices will rise soon enough, making it an ideal time to downsize and simplify into a pocket of Perth that offers an enviable lifestyle.”
