DiJones Southern Highlands has bolstered its ranks with the appointment of Bradley Cocks who has extensive expertise across marketing, communications and promotion of luxury travel and property developments.
“Bradley has diverse skills and ambition which aligns well with what makes a great real estate professional,” DiJones CEO Dean Mackie said.
“Known for his ability for building strong rapport and relationships, Bradley’s vast global experience and network bring a new level and approach to sales and marketing communications in the real estate sector.
“Bradley is renowned for his work in luxury travel and property development, in both Australia and Italy, and his impressive market knowledge makes him the right fit for DiJones and our ‘people first approach'.
“Our collaborative systems work beautifully to connect clients across our entire footprint especially between Sydney and the Southern Highlands and this will help Bradley seamlessly offer services to both his Sydney and Southern Highlands network.”
DiJones residential sales agent Bradley Cocks said his venture into real estate follows a long family tradition and he believes DiJones can mould him into the best real estate professional he can be.
“Real Estate is in my blood,” said Bradley. “My grandfather started Bowes & Cocks in 1956, a real estate agency with offices in Ontario, Canada and like DiJones they had a technology driven, forward thinking focus.
“The culture being led by Dean Mackie and Brent May is like nothing I have seen anywhere else and I feel I have spent the last 20 years of my life, honing skills relevant to the real estate profession.”
Bradley has over 15 years international experience in client relations, strategic negotiation, sales and marketing. A founding partner of luxury hotel website Kiwi Collection, Bradley was trusted by some of the world’s leading hotel brands for sales and new business development, as well as presenting on behalf of VISA in the Asia Pacific region.
A consultant on the re-launch of Vogue Living Australia, Bradley has also written for the Australian Financial Review, CNN Business Traveller and The Journal by MR PORTER.
Bradley also worked as a marketing consultant for the pre-opening for Bannisters Pavilion Hotel, Mollymook and has collaborated on his own real estate renovation projects with wife Collette Dinnigan in Italy, Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Palm Beach as well as the Southern Highlands and the NSW South Coast.
“There is so much untapped potential in the Southern Highlands. My own buying and selling experience means I can see the endless possibilities others may not — having the backing of DiJones and its systems will see me make a smooth transition into real estate.
“Having lived in the Southern Highlands since 2016, I love its charming villages, eclectic mix of the local community and the rich fertile land. The area allows for quick access down to the Kiama coastline, driving through a sub-tropic rainforest, and also easy access to Sydney, Canberra and even the Snowy Mountains. The area is also blessed with great tourism destinations, education, health care, public transportation and a thriving arts community.”
Bradley will work closely with the DiJones sales agent Michael Cawthorn and is co-listed on 4.5 acre country estate, Kerever Park, Burradoo. The 1880s Queen Anne-style home with 10 bedrooms at 4 Ranelagh Road, Burradoo, was designed by London architect Maurice Adams, for Charles Fairfax, grandson of John Fairfax.
“Kerever Park, is architecturally and historically similar to another former Fairfax family estate, Elaine which is recognised as one of Sydney Harbours most significant properties,” Bradley said.
“The impressive entrance leads to a vast stair hall with sweeping cantilevered cedar staircase and light-filled formal living rooms opening onto sun-drenched verandahs and garden settings sees it have the potential as a luxury boutique hotel or private members club akin to Soho House.
“It could also be a multigeneration family compound which could provide additional revenue streams due to the historical buildings The Mews and The Old School House which are all currently income producing.”
Kerever Park has a price guide of $14.5 million.
