Success in our industry isn’t just about market knowledge, sales strategies, or negotiation skills, it’s about mental fitness says Shane Kempton CEO of Harcourts Western Australia.
Success in our industry isn’t just about market knowledge, sales strategies, or negotiation skills, it’s about mental fitness. The ability to stay focused, resilient, and adaptable under pressure is what separates top performers from the rest.
I’m Shane Kempton, and mental fitness has been a defining theme throughout my life and career. From my time in the military, working alongside the Australian SAS, where I learned the power of mindset and leadership in high-pressure environments, to running my own number-one agency, and leading multiple real estate brands—including my current role as CEO of Harcourts Western Australia, I’ve seen firsthand how mental resilience shapes success, happiness, and fulfilment.
For over three decades, I’ve coached leaders across various industries and worked with high-performing real estate professionals. Time and again, I’ve witnessed how mastering mental fitness not only drives business success but also enhances overall well-being.
But mental fitness isn’t just about surviving challenges, it’s about thriving in the face of them. Over the years, I’ve studied and applied principles from elite performance psychology, neuroscience, and personal development to help real estate professionals build the mindset needed to excel. This journey has become my passion: equipping others with the tools to perform at their best, both professionally and personally.
Every Wednesday in The Real Estate Conversation, I’ll be sharing insights, strategies, and real-world lessons on mental fitness, tailored specifically for the real estate industry.
