Place Estate Agents is thrilled to share the results of its One Winter Day auction event, where dozens of properties went under the hammer across Brisbane.

“Our Place agents and auctioneers were able to carry out 45 auctions across three days for our clients, in what’s typically a quieter time of year for the property market,” Place’s Chief Auctioneer, Peter Burgin, said.

“With an average of four registered bidders per property and increased market activity, it’s clear opportunities like One Winter Day are valuable for both sellers and buyers in this exciting ‘property match making’ process,” he said.

The latest CoreLogic auctions results show Brisbane is achieving higher clearance rates than both Sydney and Melbourne. Across One Winter Day, Place recorded a 70% clearance rate.
