Michael Conolly has praised founder John McGrath's "determination and focus", saying it's an "exciting time" in the company's history.
Beleaguered real estate company McGrath has announced that Michael Conolly is returning to the group as head of network property management.
Conolly has more than 28 years’ experience in residential, commercial, and business property management, and has held leadership roles managing multi-billion-dollar asset portfolios.
Conolly first worked for McGrath between 2002 and 2005 as general manager of property management, and returned in 2010 to the role of head of network property management.
Conolly said, “I am very excited to be back with the company.
"I’m particularly excited about the new direction the company is heading and the positive changes taking place internally.
"I’ve worked with John for many years, and one thing I know well is that when he sets a plan in place, with the type of determination and focus he has demonstrated recently, then the success of that plan is the only option available.
"In my opinion this is an exciting time in the history of the company and a real turning point. A great deal of positive change has already begun with much more still to come.
"McGrath has been operating in the real estate market for nearly 30 years now and has been through every real estate cycle, including the global financial crisis."
Conolly said over the last thirty years, McGrath has survived all property cycle lows, and has continued to flourish and grow.
McGrath has 33,082 residential properties under management, worth in total approximately $21.5 billion.
