Robert Frewin, distinguished past president of both the Real Estate Institute of Australia (1981-82) and the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales (1970-71), passed away on 4 August. He will be missed by his many friends and colleagues in the industry.
Robert (Bob) Frewin, who had a long and distinguished career in real estate, passed away on 4 August.
Robert Frewin was a distinguished past president of both the Real Estate Institute of Australia and the Real Estate Institute of New South Wales.
In 2007, he was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the general division for service to the real estate industry, particularly through executive roles with professional organisations, and to the community through charitable, aged care, sporting and service groups.
Career achievements:
In his long and distinguished career, Frewin owned his own agency, Chambers and Frewin First National Real Estate, was involved in the development of shopping centres in St Ives, Northbridge, Hurstville, Hillsdale, Turramurra and Hornsby, and was involved with the Building Committee of Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Care Association which owned three aged-care facilities in Turramurra.
Frewin had many friends and colleagues in the industry and will be sadly missed.
