This Christmas, leading luxury and prestige real estate firm, Marshall White is working with  Victorian charity Koala Kids Foundation to raise money for children and young people undergoing  cancer treatment.  

Koala Kids is a volunteer-driven charity providing happy moments to children and young people  during their cancer treatment. Since 2005, the Foundation has been delivering valued programs  to paediatric wards throughout Victoria, and making a difference to thousands of children and  young people diagnosed with cancer and other chronic illnesses.  

Marshall White has been supporting Koala Kids since 2012, when a visit to The Royal Children’s  Hospital inspired the agency’s Group Sales Director, John (Jack) Bongiorno to write a children's book — Santa and His Brother Down Under — specifically to support the Foundation. 

Marshall White has been giving away this enchanting festive tale at Open Homes and community  events in the lead-up to Christmas for over a decade. With all of the proceeds going to Koala Kids, thousands of copies have been sold and $150,000 has been raised in the process. 

“After visiting the Children’s Cancer Centre and seeing the children’s suffering and families’  despair firsthand, we decided to support the Koala Kids vision, contributing to the Foundation  and helping children and young people during their cancer treatment,” a Marshall White  spokesperson says. 

Koala Kids’ Executive Director Amanda Mandie OAM adds, “We have been very fortunate to have  ongoing support from various businesses since being introduced through our partnership with  Marshall White.” 

This Christmas, the Marshall White team are aiming for a fundraising goal of $50,000. 

“This goal will allow for more engagement and support to be given to the 580 families currently  using Koala Kids resources, with opportunity to reach and ultimately help even more families  with children in need,” a Marshall White spokesperson adds. 

Santa and His Brother Down Under can be purchased via the Marshall White website, with all  proceeds going directly to kids in need across the state.
