Thornlie's real estate agent of the year for the past three years running, Shahbaj Brar, joins Realmark Coastal.
Shahbaj Brar – Thornlie real estate agent of the year for the past three years running – is the latest addition to the burgeoning Perth agency, Realmark Coastal.
A multi award-winning agent who has been in the industry for more than a decade, Shahbaj achieved REIWA Master Salesperson status for the 2020/21 financial year, as well as being WA’s #11 Unassisted Salesperson by Listings Sold.
The motivated real estate professional, who also works across Forrestfield and surrounding eastern suburbs, said he was inspired to make the move to one of Australia’s top performing real estate offices to achieve both professional growth and a greater work-life balance.
“I am a big believer in delivering exceptional personalised service and sold 93 homes in the last financial year, which is a significant workload, so I was attracted to Realmark’s proven systems,” said Shahbaj.
“I feel building my support structure will pave the way for me to be able to handle more volume while also getting more time with family and still offering an outstanding sales experience to clients.
“I have a growth mindset and the opportunity to work with likeminded agents in a fresh setting was also key to implementing this change; I want to follow in the footsteps of those who have already done what I want to do, rather than reinventing the wheel.”
As Perth’s largest Realmark agency, Realmark Coastal Director, Sean Hughes, said the office was looking forward to helping Shahbaj further grow his success.
“Shahbaj has an incredible amount of energy and sells a large volume of homes across Perth and we’re well-placed to support him to build on his already impressive accomplishments,” he said.
“The key for an agent like Shahbaj to increase sales volume and GCI more seamlessly is to put established processes and systems in place so he can work more efficiently.
“There’s only so much time each of us has on our own and we’re excited about working as a team with him so he can reach his professional and personal goals.”
Shahbaj said the shift also opened the door to branching out into more areas.
“I have many repeat clients so it’s good not to be boxed in to certain suburbs; I love to work with people over time as they sell and buy across Perth so flexibility to build and branch out is very important to me reaching the next level as an agent,” he explained.
Realmark Coastal’s 54-strong team took out five individual/team awards at the 2021 Realmark and REIWA Awards Night
