He returns to the group after one year and will bolster its growing Harbourside presence and offering.
Mr. Scatizzi will bring his diverse 10 years of experience to BresicWhitney, many which were spent at the group, where he specialised in the higher-end markets from the Inner East, CBD, to the City Fringe and Lower North Shore.
He returns to BresicWhitney from Christie’s International where he transacted on luxury Sydney property in excess of $10 million, encompassing Warrawee to Lindfield, Greenwich to Kirribilli, and Elizabeth Bay to Bellevue Hill.
It was Mr. Scatizzi’s belief in BresicWhitney’s vision to be Sydney’s leading property group by 2025, and its dedication to delivering a new level of excellence for Lower North Shore real estate, that drove his decision to return.
He said, “To be able to play a meaningful role in shaping the BresicWhitney Lower North Shore story and build on the incredible work that the current team have done, is very exciting.
“I’m delighted to re-join in this new capacity and deliver the signature BresicWhitney experience for buyers and sellers across not only the Lower North Shore, but for those moving between Sydney’s key Harbourside and lifestyle suburbs, many of which BresicWhitney has a long and established presence in.”
Mr. Scatizzi added that the group’s culture and values played a role in his keenness to return. “The opportunity to once again collaborate with what I know is a group of genuinely talented and passionate people across not only sales, but operations and creative, supported my decision making.”
BresicWhitney CEO Thomas McGlynn echoed Mr. Scatizzi’s sentiment. “Guido is an exceptional agent who brings a great deal of experience across the high-end Harbourside suburbs. He is also a genuinely good human being and trusted colleague, who we know will thrive in this new capacity at BresicWhitney. In a truly holistic sense, his appointment is a natural complement to our existing team, who have helped us forge the path ahead with courage and commitment.”
Mr. McGlynn added that Guido’s belief and support of BresicWhitney’s vision cemented the alignment. “We continue to understand that establishing our presence in areas such as the Lower North Shore and Eastern Suburbs is something that will continue to build over time. What’s integral is that our people, and the wider industry, understands what our journey ahead looks like, and the many opportunities it will create for those coming along with us,” he said.
The group's Lower North Shore team includes Nicholas Christou, Shabina Kamal, Louise Barton and Anna Chen, all of whom joined sequentially in mid-2023. BresicWhitney remains humbly committed to building what it believes is the most diverse and uniquely talented team in the local market, with Guido’s cross-cultural experience set to further bolster that.
BresicWhitney expects its Lower North Shore office to be completed in early-mid 2024, details of which will be announced over the coming weeks.
