After decades of professional experience working in the upper echelons of the corporate sector in China, Australia and the US, including working for the American government agency, Tracy turned her attention to real estate. Her fluency in several languages including Mandarin Chinese and English, combined with her various past business experience and communication skills, Tracy is able to maintain a strong network of buyers and investors across international borders.
Having been a Bayside local for almost 25 years, Tracy knows first-hand the appeal of the area to overseas Chinese as well as local buyers. Tracy estimates 30-40 per cent of her clientele are Chinese, vendors and buyers combined.
While Covid has limited overseas buyer activity due to borders being closed, Tracy says activity is strong in the prestige market as this sector of the market remains unaffected by rates or loan requirements.
“My Chinese clients coming from overseas move to Australia and are generally told by friends to buy in certain suburbs. They love the proximity of Bayside to good schools and the city, and being in a safe community with a beautiful lifestyle close to the water. Similarly, I have Chinese clients moving to Brighton from other suburbs because of the good schools and lifestyle choice,” she said.
