As The Agency continues to roll out its national expansion strategy, highly experienced real estate professional David Price has joined the team as General Manager of Queensland. David Price will be spearheading The Agency’s growth across the region beginning with the Brisbane market.
“We are honoured David Price has joined The Agency to grow our network, initially in Brisbane and then across Queensland, his career to date has been one of high performance, consistent results and natural leadership,” Matt Lahood The Agency’s CEO explains.
David Price brings more than 25 years of experience as an industry leader to the role, including the achievement of more than $2 billion in real estate sales and he was awarded the prestigious Max White Award by the Ray White network. Additionally, David Price established the fastest growing start-up within Ray White’s long running history and his business was ranked the number one office in Brisbane for three consecutive years.
“I’m very excited about the General Manager role ahead with The Agency, I love the branding and the network’s fresh approach. It’s a different structure and style of business which I feel is very innovative and a step ahead,” David Price says. “It is attributes like the cutting-edge marketing and the style of leadership exhibited by Matt Lahood, whom I have always admired, that drew me to the business. Let alone the fact it is Australia’s fastest-growing real estate brand.”
David Price will be focused on establishing The Agency across Queensland, gaining market share and growing the team.
“I feel there is an opportunity to raise competition within the market and bring exceptional service to our clients. Throughout my career I have thoroughly enjoyed helping people achieve their goals – develop and grow, and The Agency focuses on specialised performance training. My vision is to build a thriving team of happy agents who in turn create happy clients. This type of goal creates long-term growth for the business,” David Price says.
According to David Price the Brisbane property market is “on fire” and he sees this strong activity continuing for the short to medium term. Some of this activity is being driven by expats returning to Australia and settling back home, but the overall momentum is being driven by interstate migration, particularly from Sydney and Melbourne.
“Throughout my 25 year career I have seen three boom periods in the local property market, this includes the current boom. Each has been driven by interstate migration, people taking advantage of the better value for money in Brisbane,” David Price says.
