Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate (BHGRE) proudly welcomes Karen Young to the corporate team as the Business Growth Manager for Queensland.
Karen Young has over 25 years’ experience in the real estate industry and brings a wealth of knowledge to the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate team.
With expertise in direct sales, marketing, house and land packages, units, high rise apartments and waterfront properties, Karen will help to expand the footprint of BHGRE in the strategically important Queensland market.
“With a brand already a household name, and offering both a shopfront and mobile agent model, I felt that the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate proposition was so strong that I felt like I could be part of something ground-breaking” said Ms Young.

In her new role, Ms Young will work closely with the rest of the corporate growth team to expand the BHGRE network to real estate professionals looking to own their own franchise office, operate their business as an independent agent, or work within an existing office.
“We are thrilled to have Karen join the team in QLD and are confident that her drive and expertise will enable us to continue the momentum achieved by the brand” said Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate CEO, Michelle Delaney.

“With our franchise offices continuing to open across Australia, and just having signed up our very first Aspire mobile agent, the time was right to bring a new talent like Karen into our team."
This latest recruitment drive paired with an upcoming integrated digital marketing campaign comes off the back of the group’s launch of the BHGRE ASPIRE model.
This offering is targeted to agents looking to operate remotely and for themselves without being tied to a physical franchise office.
“The ASPIRE model provides the opportunity to run your own business with the full support of a global franchise and one of the best-known brands in Australia without the overheads of owning a shopfront” said Ms Delaney.
“We understand the industry is changing and whilst the traditional shopfront still provides a long list of benefits, we believe now more than ever that offering the additional mobile agent model will enable more real estate professionals to own their own business whilst expanding our footprint to areas we wish to grow."
