The biggest night in Tasmanian real estate is happening on the weekend of Saturday, October 12 with the main players gathering at the Hotel Grand Chancellor in Hobart. 

REIT CEO Mark Berry said there would be record numbers of people attending the event with 80 finalists across 20 awards.

"We have some new awards this year including Marketer of the Year and Sles Team of the Year," said Mr Berry.

"This is to ensure we encapsulate the whole industry in the awards.

"The winners of these awards are at the top of their profession in Tasmania, and they then get the opportunity to be in the running for the REIA awards in Darwin next March."
