Leon Axford of Axford Auctions has been announced as the winner of the REINSW Senior Auctioneering Competition held in June.
The Real Estate Institute of New South Wales has announced its winner for the 2019 State Senior Auctioneering Competition, with Leon Axford beating out fellow finalist Clarence White.
Mr Axford claimed the title nearly three months after the event at the REINSW Awards for Excellence held last week.
Having previously been a finalist three times, he told WILLIAMS MEDIA it was an honour to get his first win.
"This is something I have worked towards since I began auctioneering in 2013," he said.
"It was a very tough challenge, with the numerical portion one of the most difficult bidding sequences I have seen and the challenges that were thrown in certainly tested your ability.
"It’s a privilege to repay the belief my clients have had in me for a long time and bring this home for them."
