Experienced auctioneer Aaron Davis has been named National Auction Manager for Harcourts New Zealand.
New Zealand auctioneer Aaron Davis has achieved another professional milestone, with Harcourts New Zealand appointing him as its National Auction Manager.
Mr Davis has already proven his prowess in the realm of auctioneering this year, winning the New Zealand National Auctioneering Championships in June.
Harcourts Managing Director, Bryan Thomson said the new role would put the auctioneer's skillset to good use.
“An elite auctioneer requires a high level of industry knowledge, excellent communication and numeracy skills, and most importantly, the ability to build rapport with people from all walks of life," he said.
“Aaron has all those skills in spades which is why we’re delighted to announce his appointment to the role of National Auction Manager for Harcourts New Zealand.”

Mr Davis has a family connection to Harcourts, with his father owning the Harcourts’ Blenheim franchise where he cut his teeth on the business of selling residential real estate.
The younger Davis made the move to auctioneering ten years ago and has since made the finals of New Zealand's national championships eight times.
In his new role, he will lead and develop Harcourts’ team of auctioneers around the country in addition to continuing to operate as an elite level auctioneer.
Mr Thomson said he believed Mr Davis could further Harcourts' culture of excellence auctioneering, both in New Zealand and internationally.
“As National Auction Manager, Aaron will draw on everything he has learned and achieved throughout his stellar career to continue to grow Harcourts’ proud tradition in auctioneering," he said.
Mr Davis starts his new role on 2 September 2019 and will be based in Harcourts’ Auckland Regional Office.
