“Traineeships help to promote employee loyalty and are proven to increase workplace productivity,” said REINSW Training Manager Nerida Wood.
REINSW’s Traineeships Program has grown in recent years and now has approximately 80 trainees actively working across the state.
According to REINSW Training Manager Nerida Wood, interest in traineeships is on the rise.
“The high level of support offered by REINSW is a key element in their rising popularity, as are the financial incentives offered by the Federal Government,” she said.
“Traineeships help to promote employee loyalty and are proven to increase workplace productivity.”
REINSW provides the required learning resources and each trainee has a dedicated person at the Institute who is able to offer support and monitor progress.
“This means that any issues that arise can be resolved quickly,” Ms Wood said.
“Workplace visits, which take place two or three times a year, are also a key component of the program and contribute to the success of our trainees.”
REINSW offers the following traineeships: Certificate III in Property Services (Agency), undertaken over 12 months; and Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate), undertaken over 24 months. The certficate allows the trainee, upon completion, to apply to NSW Fair Trading for a Real Estate Licence.
