Real Estate Institute of Western Australia Training has reinforced its commitment to its regional members so far in 2019.
REIWA Training has hit the road in 2019, travelling more than 1,100 kilometres to deliver real estate training courses to its regional members.
So far this year, the institute has delivered training courses in Geraldton, Bunbury and Albany, with visits planned to Margaret River, Broome, Kalgoorlie, Busselton and Esperance still to come, as well as return visits now scheduled in Bunbury and Albany to meet demand.
REIWA CEO Neville Pozzi said despite the WA market remaining challenging for real estate agents, regional interest in real estate careers remained healthy.
“In addition to the more than 1,300 people we’ve trained throughout Perth during the first quarter of this year, we have also delivered training to over 300 regional participants to help them remain compliant and maintain their professional development requirements for the year without needing to travel to Perth.
“Regional members equate to 15 per cent of the Institute’s entire membership, so it’s vital they are given the same convenient opportunities our metro members get to advance their real estate training and skills."
Mr Pozzi said the aim was to make training as convenient as possible for members.
“In this market, improving efficiencies and helping our members save time and travel costs is a big priority," he said.
"This includes travelling to them so they don’t need to take time away from their busy schedules to make the trek to Perth.
“REIWA is a strong advocate for upholding the standards of professionalism within the industry, and this is another way we can ensure our members remain up to date with their training so they can continue to provide an elite service to their clients and communities."
