Expressions of interest are being sought for the sale of a substantial rural residential site being the balance of the successful Oakhurst Gardens Estate in Maryborough, through Andrew Burke and Tony Williams of Ray White Special Projects Queensland.
The balance 388ha* of the estate is approved for a further 112 lots and has the potential for an additional 300+ lots for development in the future.
The asset is being marketed by the Ray White Special Projects Queensland duo of Andrew Burke and Tony Williams.
Mr Burke said the location of the site and the access it provides would appeal to a wide array of potential buyers.

“Oakhurst Estate comprises an established rural residential community, situated just a 10-minute drive west of Maryborough town centre,” he said.
“Maryborough forms one of Queensland’s most heritage-rich regional townships, with a strong military history.
“It provides excellent access to some of Queensland’s most prestigious tourism destinations including Fraser Island, The Great Sandy Strait and Fraser Coast Hinterland.
“The township has all the key public and private infrastructure including Maryborough Hospital, Maryborough Train Station, Bunnings Maryborough, Station Square Shopping Centre and an IGA, anchored Maryborough Central Shopping Centre.
“And if that wasn’t enough, the estate is located only a short car trip to the major regional township of Hervey Bay.”
Mr Williams said potential buyers may want to consider the extra commercial lot that can be purchased separately.

“The rural residential site is already part of the successful Oakhurst Gardens Estate that has 250 lots successfully developed,” he said.
“But there’s an additional 1.22ha* approved commercial site for retail, service station, tavern, that can be bought separately.
“There really are a myriad of opportunities to the right buyer and this is a land parcel that is sure to appeal to many.”
Expressions of interest close on Tuesday 4 December at 4 pm.
