It was the encouraging push from a friend that gave Sam Bevan the confidence to enter the Elite Agent 2018 Program.

"I had a friend who did the program last year and she was really pushing me to do it. I honestly didn’t have the $99 admission fee to spare, because you know, in sales you have good and bad months. I’d had a few very mediocre months and my friend said, "you’re doing it, you’re doing it" and so she paid my entry fee to do it.

"That was six weeks ago and winning the award has turned my entire world upside down. It’s so exciting to be exposed to all these networking opportunities" she said.

"During the process of doing the program, I realised I had more potential in me that wasn’t being realised where I was currently working," she told WILLIAMS MEDIA.

"Every day we were incredibly stimulated and nourished with all this information and all these possibilities that they were showing me on a platter on what I could do if I really wanted to put my heart and soul into it. That’s when it dawned on me that I wasn’t in the right environment to reach my potential and I didn’t believe I could achieve what I wanted to achieve, where I was.  I decided to put myself first and that’s what I did. After reviewing several agencies, Realmark Coastal was the standout," she said.

Sam also placed 5th Top Rookie at the REIWA awards last year, an award she says came as a complete shock.

"Last year was my first year as a sales rep in Western Australia and I won. That was a really hard year of real estate in WA and I was shocked to hear my name called out," she said.
