Australia's "ultimate beachfront estate", Laguna, has sold for a record Noosa price through Adrian Reed of Dowling & Neylan.
Australia's "ultimate beachfront estate", Laguna, has sold for a record Noosa residential price. And it's not hard to see why.
Though the exact price has not been disclosed, the unique 32-hectare beachfront estate with 470 metres of beach frontage and uninterrupted 180-degree ocean views sold for in excess of $10 million, selling agent Adrian Reed of Dowling & Neylan told SCHWARTZWILLIAMS.
The property features private access to a pristine sandy beach, native rainforest setting, a bountiful kitchen garden, freshwater lagoon and creek, and enough level lawn to land a helicopter. The homestead contained high ceilings, large windows, and ample verandahs from which to take in the views and the sea breeze.
Ken Jacobs and Carys Adams of Ken Jacobs Christie's International Real Estate Double Bay marketed the property alongside Reed.

There was strong interest from all over the world, said Reed. The campaign "exhausted all options", with potential buyers came from all over the world, including Canada, the UK, and expats living in Asia, as well as from Western Australia, Victoria, and New South Wales.
"Noosa (real estate) is in pretty good shape," said Reed.
“It’s set a new benchmark for Noosa and it’s going to take a while for that to be beaten,” he said.
Reed said there has always been strong demand from Melbourne for Noosa property, but Sydney buyers are a growing force in the area.
The previous record for Noosa was $9.3 million for a property at Webb Road, Sunshine Beach.
Reed was also involved as a buyer's agent in a second recent $10 million-plus Noosa sale. A waterfront home designed by award-winning designer Paul Clout at 31 Wyuna Drive, Noosaville, also sold for more than $10 million, though just short of the price for Laguna.
