LJ Hooker Lower North Shore, one of the group's best performing offices, will join Ray White before the end of the financial year.
As reported in The Real Estate Conversation last week, LJ Hooker is looking at opening new offices in Mosman, Cremorne, Cammeray, Kirribilli, and Neutral Bay, as the franchise agreement with the directors of LJ Hooker Lower North Shore comes to an end.
The directors of the office, Richard Harding, Geoff Smith and Bernard Ryan, say Ray White will allow the business to "take the next step", and have thanked LJ Hooker for its support over 20 years.
“Joining the Ray White Group provides the ideal vehicle for us to become an even greater force in our local area," said Harding.
Smith said the new partnership gives the team access to new support and services.
Dan White, Ray White director and fourth generation White family, said the 115-year-old family-owned business welcomes LJ Hooker Lower North Shore to the group.
“This promises to be one of the most important partnerships we have ever entered," he said.
The Lower North Shore is "one of the key property markets in Australia," said White.
Ray White has three existing businesses at Northbridge, Willoughby, and Lane Cove, which are all independently owned. The businesses are "all strong operations," Lisa Pennell, as spokesperson for Ray White, told SCHWARTZWILLIAMS.
LJ Hooker Lower North Shore is the leading office in the LJ Hooker Group. It achieved record results in March, and April, and is highly respected across the full spectrum of property assets classes.
The business operates four departments under one umbrella: residential and prestige property sales; Urban Living apartment and townhouse sales; property management, projects and development; and retail and commercial.
LJ Hooker Lower North Shore has been operating for 60 years and employs more than 50 people. It has been run by the same directors for 20 years.
