Interested parties will be able to watch a live stream of the auction of the 'hoarder's house', a home well known for the piles of rotting rubbish and broken furniture strewn around it.

The home is due to be auctioned by Ric Serrao of Raine & Horne Double Bay at 5.30pm on Thursday 19 May.

The property at 19 Boonara Ave is in one of Bondi's most sought-after streets, where houses regularly sell for $5 million.​

Christophe Serrao of Raine and Horne Double Bay, said the property is being sold by the sheriff after council cleaning bills worth around $130,000 remain unpaid.

The 500sqm property could reach bidding of more than $2 million on the night, he said.

Serrao said "it depends on how many people turn up and if the property gets up." He said there is still the possibility the bills could be paid, and the owners are able to remain in their home.
