Above Zero, in collaboration with Wilbow Group, presents Glyndon—a boutique collection of 13 architecturally designed homes in Camberwell. Conceived by Cera Stribley with interiors by Lauren Tarrant, Glyndon is a masterclass in refined living, balancing craftsmanship, elegance, and seamless indoor-outdoor flow.
Over three years in the making, Glyndon is a landmark planning outcome that sets a new design benchmark for Camberwell. Rooted in the area’s rich architectural heritage, the project reinterprets Federation-era elegance through a contemporary lens. Classic European influences merge with modern principles to create timeless yet low-maintenance homes that prioritise both form and function. Thoughtfully composed spaces, framed by graceful thresholds, allow for a fluid yet distinct separation of living areas, capturing abundant northern light and fostering a wellness-focused lifestyle.
Nestled on a quiet and prestigious tree-lined street, Glyndon enjoys a sought-after position within walking proximity to Fordham Village, with boutique shopping, dining, and leafy parklands just moments away. With Melbourne’s leading private and public schools nearby, it offers a rare opportunity for families and downsizers seeking a prestigious yet connected lifestyle.
At the heart of Glyndon’s design is expansive ground-floor living. Each residence features generously proportioned spaces with high ceilings and a minimum of two aspects (corner positioning), ensuring interiors are bathed in natural light. The architectural intent enhances openness and spatial generosity, seamlessly extending into private courtyards that bring the outdoors in.
Glyndon also marks Lauren Tarrant’s debut in multi-residential design, setting a new benchmark for the space. Inspired by classic Parisian residences, her interiors reinterpret the ornate detailing of yesteryear with a modern sensibility, delivering an equal measure of finesse and craftsmanship. Featuring intricate stonework, bespoke flooring patterns, and an elevated material palette, Glyndon offers a level of design previously reserved for Melbourne’s finest private homes.
AJ Batra, Managing Director of Above Zero, shared his vision for Glyndon:“Glyndon, a sequel to our celebrated Rondure House project, is a collection of expansive residences in Camberwell designed for living, built for life. We’ve drawn on Camberwell’s architectural heritage to create homes that seamlessly blend modern elegance with timeless Federation-era influences, all elevated by interiors inspired by classic French design.
These residences redefine multi-residential living, delivering a level of detail and materiality that hasn’t been seen before in this space. Glyndon is a home for those who appreciate design, craftsmanship, and enduring quality.”
Every residence at Glyndon is a study in meticulous detail, where considered design meets personalisation. Each home features ‘Your Other Space’—a private, flexible retreat within the secure basement, setting a new precedent for multi-residential living. This highly customisable area allows residents to create a private health and wellness sanctuary, complete with a sauna and plunge bath, or a multi-dimensional family retreat featuring a wine bar and cinema. Expansive private courtyards, premium materiality, and spacious, light-filled interiors further enhance the sense of elegance and adaptability, ensuring each home evolves with its residents' lifestyle.
Designed with longevity and sustainability in mind, Glyndon maximises natural light and achieves a 7.5-star energy rating for an effortlessly efficient home.
“Designed for living, built for life—Glyndon encapsulates our commitment to crafting homes that are not only architecturally striking but also enduring and secure. These are residences designed to evolve with our residents, offering a foundation for a beautifully considered lifestyle,” Batra concluded.
Priced from $2.4M, Glyndon officially launches in May 2025. VIP pre-release appointments at the Display Gallery will commence soon, with construction set to begin in Q3 2025.
