The Agency Group Australia (ASX:AU1) continues to accelerate its growth with the entire sales and property management divisions of Devine Real Estate joining the network.  

Led by Steven Devine, and directors Fayez Yammine and Aaron Papadimatos, Devine Real Estate, sold $250 million in property over the last 12 months across four hubs in Sydney’s Strathfield, Concord, Drummoyne and Marrickville/Dulwich Hill. The offices will rebrand as The Agency over the coming weeks.

Mr Devine said after an extensive search, the decision to join The Agency reflected the changing needs of his clients and their desire to have access to additional and emerging markets outside of Sydney’s Inner West.   

“We have come a long way from a single office in Strathfield in 1965 to a team of 60 real estate professionals across four hubs in 2023. While our local offices will continue to be run by the same property experts we have today, we will now have the backing and added strength of a nationally recognised company. 

“The Agency’s ambition to grow across the nation, its strong cultural alignment and clear direction was key in making this decision and we embrace the opportunity to rebrand as The Agency as the logical next step for our business.”   

The Agency CEO Geoff Lucas said The Agency was established to bring the most experienced group of people in the real estate space together in a model that is more responsive to today’s property market.  

“The addition of Devine Real Estate supports our continued growth strategy to expand our geographical presence and sees The Agency increase in size to over 650 real estate professionals across the country.  The number of properties managed by The Agency has climbed to above 8,000 at an estimated value of $6 billion. MDC Trilogy Group owns 3,250 of these managements.

The acquisition of Devine’s property management assets was undertaken by MDC Trilogy Group and is another step forward in the partnership announced in November 2022.
