There aren't many agents that would consider a year in which they earnt $1 million in commission to be 'below average', but such is the case with new Queensland Sotheby's recruit Isaac Genc.

The Gold Coast agent said the scenario represents his "worst year", adding there was no secret to his success.

“I’m very transparent so what you see is what you get," he said.

"I do the basics really well, and work to the same formula as all great agents in the country.

"I work hard and simply concentrate on delivering results, so the rest takes care of itself.”  

Mr Genc has established himself as one of the Gold Coast's top-performing sales agents throughout the past few years through his busines Genc & Co, achieving numerous record-breaking sales both on and off-market.

His accomplishments in the area have been recognised through a range of awards, including Agent of the Year Bundall/Sorrento, as well as an impressive ranking in Top 100 Agents in Australia for 2017, 2018 and 2019.

Mr Genc told WILLIAMS MEDIA joining QSIR presented him with an opportunity to be more involved in the prestige market.

"I have a successful team who will share in this journey," he said.

“Typically I’ve been selling properties over the $1 million mark, specifically waterfront,” Mr Genc said.

“But our reach can extend to cater for a variety of markets and price points.” 

Mr Genc said he was introduced to the role after speaking with Queensland Sotheby's International Realty CEO Paul Arthur while visiting a friend that worked at the agency.
