Goldeneye Media, creator of the marketing video for Australia’s most expensive home, Fairwater, is expanding into the United States.
Leading Australian real estate film company Goldeneye Media has launched an office in Los Angeles to meet growing demand for its luxury storytelling.
The company is frequently called to create real estate videos for high end homes, including Australia’s most expensive home, Fairwater, which was reportedly sold for $100 million this week.
Goldeneye Media first entered the US market four years ago when it was asked to tell the story of a $100 million Napa Valley estate, and the company’s production team has shuttled back and forth since to film some of America’s most high end properties.
Managing Director Tracey Atkins said the decision to launch officially in the US would allow Goldeneye to become more agile in terms of timelines and budgets, though stressed the company’s uniquely international approach would remain firmly in place with all projects continuing to be overseen from Australia.

Ms Atkins told WILLIAMS MEDIA Goldeneye first opened in 2010, and had a temporary base out of Dallas in 2014 when business started to pick up in America.
“Our LA office opened its doors four weeks ago, and we have already been engaged on several shoots including a mansion in Beverly Hills,” said Ms Atkins.
“Due to strong relationships in the US our team of four based there are already fairly active.
“We are waiting on a high profile property in LA to get the go ahead on, and we have two extremely significant American holdings we are waiting instructions on.”
Ms Atkins said “The key to our success in the US has been our Australian style, which is seen as a real point of difference.”

“We tend to view and present properties a little differently, and the American agents and buyers find that it makes the campaigns feel more significant and exciting.
“On the other side of the equation, our international cachè has allowed us to carve out a unique presence in the Australian market – local agents tell us our brandmark helps to underpin a property’s global credentials.”
In the last four years Goldeneye has worked on several campaigns for record breaking US real estate, including the most expensive home ever sold in San Francisco and the long-held ranch of Apple co-founder and former CEO Mike Markkula.

The company’s record in the Australian luxury market is equally impressive.
Prior to the Fairwater sale, Goldeneye had made both films for the two stage campaign of the other iconic Fairfax estate, Elaine, which was also the most expensive home ever sold in Australia until this week.

Goldeneye also recently created the film for Australia’s most expensive apartment, “The Boyd Residence”, which is currently for sale for $66 million.
Goldeneye’s LA office will be headed up by Senior Producer Josh Stokes, who spent last year working in Australia to gather insight to the company’s unique approach to real estate storytelling.
