Do you have a suggestion for the New South Wales government about how they might fix the state's housing affordability problems?
Housing affordability is one of the most pressing issues facings Australians at present, and the situation is most dire in New South Wales, where the median dwelling price sits at a breathtaking $1,094,000 (CoreLogic).
The New South Wales Government has commissioned Global Access Partners to conduct an online forum with the public, to give the community with an opportunity to express their views, and to propose possible solutions.
The forum is open to the general public, including home owners, future home buyers, tenants, developers, real estate agents, lawyers, and academics who have a deep understanding of housing affordability matters. Larger organisations and key stakeholder bodies are also invited to contribute.
Contributions can be made by commenting on the Open Forum site. Alternatively email your comments or suggestions to [email protected]. Submissions close Thursday 8 June, 2017, at midday AEST.
Articles from leading property experts about housing affordability are also available on the site, including articles by John Cunningham, president of the REINSW, and Tim Lawless from CoreLogic.
