'Significant' increase in auction clearance rates during December quarter - CoreLogic
CoreLogic's Quarterly Auction Update has shown increased activity for both buyers and vendors across the majority of capital cities in the three months to December 2019.

While tighter lending restrictions and the "winter effect" have seen clearance rates dip in Melbourne, vendors who are prepared to meet the market have come out on top over the weekend.
Auction clearance rates have increased over the weekend, with apartments recording a strong clearance rate (65 per cent) than the house market (62.2 per cent), according to CoreLogic's preliminary data for last week.
