The 5-bedroom home was sold by Sam Hobbs and Justin Reed of The Agency in conjunction with Marcus Peters of Whiting & Co.

This immaculate period residence near St Kilda Beach has been sold by Sam Hobbs and Justin Reed of The Agency in conjunction with Marcus Peters of Whiting & Co.

The dual-level Elwood home was sold with a price range of $2.7-2.9m, despite Melbourne entering a new COVID-19 lockdown during the campaign.

Sam Hobbs told WILLIAMS MEDIA, “Despite the interruptions, the Port Phillip market remains buoyant - in fact after each lockdown ends the pent-up demand is evident, with buyers looking to purchase quickly, particularly those who have already sold.”

There were 19 inspections, including 3 repeats, during the campaign, which ran from 5 May to 11 June.

Buyers were mainly young families looking for a large home and land size that represented good value.

Conjunctional agent, Marcus Peters of Whiting and Co. told WILLIAMS MEDIA, "Buyers are looking for bang for their buck and with large proportions and plenty of living zones this home has a lot of bang."

"Because money is cheap, if a buyer can find a fully renovated home that they like it can ultimately save them a lot of money and years of their life." Marcus continued.
