Via the Luptons, Woronganack was full of actors, artists, musicians and performers of all ilks, prominent public figures and politicians, including Dame Nellie Melba and Prime Minister Alfred Deakin.

During the war, Woronganack became a boarding house for returned servicemen, later to be turned into small apartments, and ultimately lovingly returned to a single residence in the 1970s.
