Sold by Brett Greensill and Andrea Crossan of McGrath New Farm, who told WILLIAMS MEDIA, “Good stock is in startlingly short supply.”
One of Brisbane's finest acreage properties with Georgian style manor home has been sold by Brett Greensill and Andrea Crossan of McGrath New Farm for $4.4m, with multiple offers at the same time.
Set on approx. 10,000sqm just 15km from the CBD, the property was on the market for the first time in almost 15 years and had recently undergone a flawless renovation with exceptional attention to detail.

“We started planning at the beginning of the year, however had to modify and adapt with Covid-19 restrictions and manage a different campaign. We went forwards with a comprehensive online campaign with high profile, targeted social media,” Brett explained to WILLIAMS MEDIA.
“We qualified and rejected over 100 inquiries on the basis that those buyers were either not suitably prepared or financially capable to perform at the seller’s expected level. We had a number of conjunctions with local agents, once they said their buyers were qualified and several of these came forwards with offers, but they were also rejected.”

“Most buyers were from South East Queensland, although some were in apartments in the city, moving to acreage, or moving for school catchments. The successful buyer was upsizing from a nearby suburb.”

There is also a temperature controlled wine cellar with tasting room, 8-vehicle showroom plus gym, workshop and storage facilities, and a resort pool and tennis court.
“I loved representing this property because the quality of it was so high. There were no apologies for the fact no expense was spared,” Brett told WILLIAMS MEDIA. “There’s a tick in every box; pool, tennis court, gardens, 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, 8 car spaces, immaculate presentation, 10,000sqm, comparatively close to the village.”
“Even in Pullenvale, comparing it with New Farm where we usually work from, good stock is in startlingly short supply.”
