“I came on in January and had 3 potential purchasers lined up. There was a good amount of interest, as it’s a stunning house with uninterrupted ocean views.”

The property sold for $6.8m to an interstate buyer, wanting warmer weather for a winter getaway.

“The buyer loved the quality of the build, the views, location, and the privacy and felt the property blended into its environment,” Ku explained.

“Good buying, with a realistic vendor happy to meet the current market.”

The property is located 5 minutes from the hinterland village of Newrybar, less than 10 minutes to Bangalow and 20 minutes to the famed beaches and many attractions of Byron Bay.

The Ballina-Byron Airport is an easy 15 minutes’ drive, and the Gold Coast International Airport is 50 minutes away.

“The market in the area is slow, but good quality properties that are priced right are selling,” Ku told LUXURY LIST WEEKEND.
